Syracuse basketball TV schedule 2025-26: Where to watch live streams of Orange basketball

Orange Basketball is back for the 2025-26 NCAA men’s basketball season.

After a disappointing end to 2024-25, a new look Orange makes their regular season debut on Monday, November 3, against Binghamton. But the team held on to its two best players from last year: JJ Starling and Donnie Freeman. Everyone else is new, including incoming freshman Sadiq White, who has been appraised as the best of this new recruiting class.

Fans who can’t make it to the Dome can still follow the road to March Madness all season long on TV, or via live stream online. But navigating the best place to watch every Syracuse Orange basketball game can get complicated.

Syracuse basketball games don’t always air on the same channel, and the channel isn’t always confirmed until a week or two before the game. Cord cutters also have to figure out which live TV streaming services, such DirecTV (free trial), have which channels.

Most Syracuse University basketball games air on ACC Network or the ESPN family of channels, including ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPNU. This season, The CW secured exclusive broadcast rights for select ACC basketball games, including some Syracuse games noted above. New for 2025, several games are slated for broadcast on TNT.

What about ACC Network Extra?

ACC Network Extra, a.k.a. ACCNX, is a streaming-only “channel” exclusive to ESPN.com and ESPN apps — but it still requires a cable subscription or live TV streaming subscription to access. What is the best live TV streaming service for Syracuse basketball?

When it comes to streaming services, there is only one that is guaranteed to cover you for all 31 games this season: DirecTV. As always, it is important to check local channel availability when signing up for a streaming service, as it can vary market-to-market, which can impact fans’ ability to watch games on local stations like The CW. Here’s what you need to know about each streaming service:

DirecTV (free trial) carries all relevant channels at the Choice Package level, which currently includes the Sports pack channels for $59.99 for your first three months of service. DirecTV is the only Live TV service that reliably carries The CW, which makes it the best (albeit, priciest) TV service to watch Syracuse basketball. It starts with a five-day free trial. DirecTV Choice includes 125+ channels, Unlimited DVR storage and thousands of on-demand titles.

fuboTV (free trial) has every game that appears on ESPN-affiliated channels. It also carries local stations in most markets, but importantly, it is missing The CW in Syracuse, and TNT everywhere, which means that local fans will be out of luck for several games on the 2025-26 calendar. The service starts at $84.99 per month, but you’ll want the $9.99/month Sports Lite add on to get access to ACCN and ESPN U, for a total of $94.98/month. Fubo’s basic service includes over 230 channels and unlimited DVR space.

Hulu + Live TV (free trial) is essentially the same service as fuboTV, from a Syracuse basketball fan’s perspective, and it might even be a more attractive option. Access to ACCN and ESPN U are included in the basic $82.99/month rate, plus Hulu, ESPN Select and Disney Plus are included. Right now, new subscribers will get their first three months for just $65 per month. Hulu + Live TV includes more than 95 channels and Unlimited DVR storage.

Sling is the cheapest option here, but still gives access to most currently-scheduled Syracuse University basketball games. You’ll need Sling Orange and the Sports Extras add on for a total of $57/month in order to get ACCN and ESPN U. Local channel availability, such as NBC and CW stations, is limited. In the Syracuse market, for example, Sling does not carry FOX, NBC, ABC or The CW. But fans can get a cheap OTA antenna which may let them pick up local channels that are missing from the service. Sling is currently offering new subscribers half off their first month of service.
