Looking back to the last time Dems controlled the Onondaga County Legislature: Michael Bragman takes his seat as the Majority leader of the Onondaga County Legislature for the first time on January 3, 1978. Ten players Syracuse football can’t afford to lose this offseason: Syracuse head coach Fran Brown sent out four freshman captains for the Orange’s game at Miami, a sign that the final two games of this season are primarily about his program’s future. Syracuse appears to have a franchise quarterback in place, and this year’s recruiting class is highly ranked. The Orange seems to have key pieces in place to produce a couple of strong seasons. In order to do that, though, Syracuse will have to retain most of its best players.
