Syracuse, N.Y. —Syracuse University announced an opening-night crowd of 18,762 fans for its 2025-26 season debut against the Binghamton Bearcats.

Syracuse blew out Binghamton 85-47 at the JMA Wireless Dome on Monday night.

An announced crowd of 19,619 attended last season’s opening game at the dome against Le Moyne.

With a revamped roster in a critically important season, Syracuse is looking to improve upon last year’s announced average attendance of 18,888 fans for 17 home games last season, a mark that ranked as the fourth-lowest ever at the dome for men’s basketball.

Syracuse’s average attendance ranked fifth in the country last season, marking the first time SU has been outside of the Top 4 since the dome became its home facility during the 1980-81 season.

SU’s next home is on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. against Delaware State.
