Syracuse, N.Y. -- Wide receiver Jaden Upshaw, who is ranked among the 100 best prospects in the Class of 2027, listed Syracuse football among 10 options he is considering attending to start his college career.
Upshaw shared his list of 10 potential colleges on social media on Wednesday, listing Syracuse alongside an assortment of powerhouse programs.
Along with Syracuse, Upshaw is considering Alabama, Georgia, Texas A&M, Miami, Michigan, Florida State, Florida, Southern California and Tennessee.
Upshaw plays for Lee County High School in Georgia, which has gone 8-3 this season. According to MaxPreps.com he has 38 catches for 764 yards and eight touchdowns, an average of 20.1 yards per catch.
Upshaw is listed on the 247 Sports composite rankings at 6-foot 2 and 202 pounds. He as a four-star prospect and the No. 78 prospect nationally in the 247 Sports composite rankings.
Syracuse’s recruiting class in 2027 currently ranks eighth in the country with eight verbal commitments, which is tied for the most in the country with Sacramento State.
