Cicero, N.Y. — Athletes from 21 Section III cheerleading squads shared the fun of preseason chatter at syracuse.com’s 2025-26 winter media days last week.
Practice began this week, but athletes and coaches gathered to exchange greetings with opposing friends (soon-to-be foes), got their pictures taken and discussed topics about the upcoming season with syracuse.com reporters.

Altmar-Parish-Williamstown, Auburn, Central Square, Chittenango, Christian Brothers Academy, Cicero-North Syracuse, East Syracuse Minoa, Hannibal, Henninger, Jamesville-DeWitt, Jordan-Elbridge, Liverpool, Mexico, New Hartford, Oswego, Phoenix, Sandy Creek, Solvay, Syracuse Academy of Science, Utica Proctor and West Genesee.
