Syracuse, N.Y.—Syracuse women’s lacrosse has picked up a commitment from one of the best goalies in the Class of 2027.
Piper Dalsemer, a five-star prospect from Mira Costa High School (CA), announced her commitment to Syracuse on social media this week.
Dalsemer is rated as the No. 13 overall player and No. 2 goalie by Inside Lacrosse in the Class of 2027.
IL describes Dalsemer’s game as “athletic and quick. Dalsemer is the total package. She plays her angles in cage, never giving the shooter too much on either side. Her offside saves and ability to drop make is hard to find her “weak spot.” Dalsemer has no problem taking on pressure outside of the cage. She has high-impact field vision and a knack for finding the stick of her teammate in the clear."
Dalsemer also plays for Alliance Lacrosse.
Dalsemer becomes the highest-rated prospect in SU’s recruiting Class of 2027, which now has 10 players verbally committed.
