Syracuse, N.Y. — Section III football stars saved some of their performances for the championship round last weekend.
Five players scored at least 40 points, headlined by Cazenovia quarterback Bobby Livingston, who lit up the scoreboard with 52.02 points. He had 448 passing yards, four passing touchdowns, 41 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns.
With the popularity of fantasy football seemingly increasing by the day, we began to wonder what Section III football players’ fantasy scores would look like each week.
Syracuse.com has calculated the top fantasy football scores from around Section III. The scores are based on statistics reported to syracuse.com by Section III coaches.
The scoring is simple. It’s just like your typical PPR fantasy scoring system. You receive one point per every 25 passing yards, four points for passing touchdowns, negative two points for interceptions thrown, one point per every 10 rushing yards, one point per reception, one point per every 10 receiving yards and six points for every rushing and receiving touchdown.
The fantasy scoring leaders will be broken down into two categories: Quarterback and FLEX. Quarterback is self-explanatory. FLEX includes any non-QB player on a team.
