Onondaga County school superintendent to retire

Onondaga, N.Y. - Onondaga Central Schools Supintendent Rob Price is retiring.

Price’s retirement is effective July 10, 2026. The Onondaga Central school board accepted his retirement at its Oct. 14 meeting.

Price has been superintendent in the Onondaga Central schools since 2013. He came to the districvt after working in the Oneida City School District for 16 years.

The board has said it plans to work with OCM BOCES on its search for a replacement.

Price’s annual salary for the 2024-25 year ending June 30,2025 was $165,207, according to the superintendent’s contract.
