North Syracuse, N.Y. - The North Syracuse Central School district is looking into a racist sticker found in a bathroom at the high school, according to a message from Superintendent Terry Ward.

The sticker had images associated with a white supremacist group, the message to the community said. It was found in a bathroom at Cicero-North Syracuse High School.

Ward said there is no such club in the school.

The sticker said “White Lives Matter,” and referred to a youth club that promotes neo Nazis, according to a social media post by a parent.

“The message displayed is completely inconsistent with the values of our district and community,“ he said. ”Any act that promotes hate, discrimination or intimidation toward any group of people is unacceptable and will not be tolerated."

The district is investigating.
