DeWitt, NY - The new CopperTop Tavern, located on Erie Boulevard in DeWitt, is now open.
The restaurant opened its doors at 4 p.m. Tuesday. It will open at 4 p.m. all this week, and next week be open for lunch and dinner.
The Syracuse-based Giamartino family owns the Tully’s Good Times and CopperTop Tavern franchises.
John Paul, David and Daniel Giamartino are partners in the venture. This will be the fourth CopperTop in the area.
There are CopperTop restaurants in Camillus, Cicero and Vestal.
The DeWitt restaurant is located in what used to be the former Stone’s Restaurant at 3220 Erie Blvd. East in DeWitt. Stone’s closed in 2022.
The Giamartino family also is now operating Diamond Catering, which has served at weddings, corporate gatherings and other events for 20 years. It also will be branded under the CopperTop name.
Tully’s has more than a dozen locations in Central New York and one in Clarks Summit, Pa.
