Twelve towns, plus the city of Syracuse, have seen average home sale prices increase by less than the average for all of Onondaga County so far this year.

All of those locations have seen the average home sale price increase less than $32,000 over the last year. That’s less than the countywide average increase of about $35,000.

The 13 places are:

  • Elbridge
  • Camillus
  • LaFayette
  • Cicero
  • City of Syracuse
  • Manlius
  • Clay
  • Otisco
  • Geddes
  • Salina
  • Marcellus
  • DeWitt
  • Van Buren

Average prices in three other towns are down so far this year: Fabius, Pompey and Onondaga.

That is according to data from the Central New York Information Service Inc., a part of the Greater Syracuse Association of Realtors. The data reflects sales through Nov. 11.

Elbridge is the only town on the list that saw the average home sale price increase by more than $30,000. Camillus, LaFayette and Cicero all saw prices go up by more than $25,000.

Clay, Manlius and the city of Syracuse all saw prices increase by more than $20,000. Van Buren saw the smallest price increase in the county, up $5,100.

Of the 13 places that saw smaller price increases than the county, only three were at or above the county average for the sale price of a home. The average price of a home in Onondaga County now sits at $326,900.
