Final syracuse.com football rankings: 6 section champions crowned

Syracuse, N.Y. — The Section III football playoffs are in the books and the final syracuse.com rankings are in.

In four of the six No. 1 seeds — Christian Brothers Academy, Whitesboro, New Hartford and Lowville — won their championships at JMA Wireless Dome over the weekend.

General Brown and Morrisville-Eaton were the No. 2 seeds in their respective classes, but it didn’t matter. Both squads won their matchups and will join the other section champions in the state playoffs.
