A classic rock band is making another major change to its lineup.
Foreigner announced a series of new Canadian tour dates with guest vocalist Geordie Brown replacing the group’s current frontman, Kelly Hansen. Brown played the male lead of a 2018 workshop production of “Juke Box Hero, the Musical,” a stage show featuring Foreigner songs coming in 2026.
“I was most impressed by Geordie’s performances of ‘Juke Box Hero, The Musical’ in Canada,” Foreigner guitarist Mick Jones said in a statement. “He is not only a consummate vocalist, but a verified Broadway actor to boot. We look forward to welcoming him at our shows on Foreigner’s 2025 Canadian tour.”
Jones is the only original member of Foreigner still with the band, though he no longer performs due to Parkinson’s disease. Hansen has been Foreigner’s lead singer since 2005.

Lou Gramm, a Rochester native who currently lives in Webster, N.Y., is the original voice of Foreigner. He reunited with several band members for their Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction in October and made a surprise appearance at a Foreigner concert in Florida earlier this month.
Gramm, 74, is currently set to retire this year. His final concert is expected to be a hometown show with the Lou Gramm All-Stars at Batavia Downs on Aug. 1.
Foreigner is a classic rock band known for mega-selling hits like “Hot Blooded,” “Cold As Ice,” and “Feels Like the First Time.” Gramm and Jones were previously inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2013.
Foreigner’s upcoming tour dates include an Aug. 7 show with Hansen at the Erie County Fair in Hamburg. Tickets for the Canadian concerts with Brown go on sale Friday via Ticketmaster.
