Syracuse, N.Y. — The 2024-25 All-CNY boys hockey teams have been revealed and the finalists for player of the year have been announced.

Now, it’s your turn to tell us who deserves player of the year honors.

In Division I, the finalists are: Tyler Lokker of Rome Free Academy, Emmit Porter of Cicero-North Syracuse and Jonah Vormwald of West Genesee.

In Division II, the finalists are: Gavin Aceto of Whitesboro, Danny Angelina of Skaneateles and Luke Bobbett of Skaneateles.

This fan vote is just for fun, and will not be used to determine the official player of the year. Voting is restricted to one vote per day, per household. Any violations of this restriction will result in a disqualification of the athlete(s).

The winner will be revealed at syracuse.com’s | The Post Standard’s annual All-CNY Sports Awards presented by Syracuse Orthopedic Specialists. The show begins at 6 p.m., Tuesday, June 24, 2025, inside the Liverpool High School Auditorium. More details can be found here.
